Day 10: UDAIPUR

This morning we met Mahendra at 8 at the reception of the Ramada Udaipur Resort & Spa to go directly to the Lake Palace in Udaipur.
The idea is to leave us there and we will spend the rest of the day off.
This morning we are more or less the same with our stomach, this seems to have become commonplace almost since we arrived in India. Although we can say that we feel something better and that is already an achievement for how we felt before.

We will have breakfast light, as always and we are on our way to the city center.
But first we stopped at the Saheliyon Ki Bari Gardens of Udaipur, where in the morning we cool off in a very pleasant environment and above all very green.

The idea is to continue directly to the Lake Palace inUdaipur, but before we make another makeshift stop in some cenotaphs that leave us amazed. They are the Cenotaphs of Ahar of the Maharanas of Mewar.
Of the best we have seen so far on this trip.

Now we are on our way to the City Palace of Udaipur and after Mahendra leaves us on the main street in the area, we meet him to come pick us up at 4 in the afternoon at this same point.

Upon arrival at the ticket office we get the tickets, 550 rupees the 2 and we go inside.
The truth is that this Udaipur Palace It is the least we like of all we have seen so far in this trip to india, will it be because we already have a few?

We are here about 2 hours touring all the rooms, until we get tired of going around the Palace and we are going to wander around for a while.
As we do not know very well how much distance we have to Lake Pichola where the Lake Palace in Udaipur, we take an autorickshaw that for 50 rupees (we don't even haggle) takes us to the shore of the lake where we have better views.
We had a good time here, taking pictures and protecting ourselves from the heat.

I have not said that being in the Palace of Udaipur, for not having too much breakfast and feeling practically well, I have decided (and at a good time) to eat a bag of potato chips.
This has caused an outburst in my stomach and as soon as I leave the Palace I have found my stomach again fatal.
So this part of the day, I do it again with a bad body and regretting the potato chips bag all the time !! Who would think??? Only me!!!

It's almost 2 in the afternoon and we decided it's time to eat, although I'm almost afraid to eat anything! At this moment I just want to go to rest and forget my belly for a while.
We have recommended the Lotus Restaurant, quite close to the Palace to eat and there we go with another rickshaw.
Roger can eat quite well, but I order a plate of rice and I almost can't even with the first spoonful.
This begins to not paint well ...

It's been a while until 4 that Mahendra comes looking for us and takes us back to the hotel Udaipur where I fall asleep until 6 pm ...

In the afternoon it seems that after resting a little I feel better, but I am not yet fully recovered.
Om, one of Mahendra's chauffeur in India, to take us to watch the sunset.
We ask you to take us to a good place and we end up traveling the narrow streets of Udaipur at full speed not to miss the sunset on the terrace of a hostel of a friend of his.
Definitely a whole experience having tea with lemon ...

After this sunset and take a walk through the streets of the city of UdaipurRoger takes the opportunity to have a quick dinner in a cafeteria where we stop for a drink and I decide that it is best not to eat anything and endure until tomorrow.
Luckily I like this a lot, but I don't know if I could stand with my stomach !!
