2. Sa Caleta

Santa Cristina, patron of Lloret de Mar and protector of seafarers, has two places with her name in this town, which is worth visiting: the hermitage and the beach of Santa Cristina. The hermitage of Santa Cristina from the end of the 18th century, located 3 kilometers from Lloret de Mar, stands out for its main marble altar, some relics of the saint and a magnificent collection of miniature ships. On the outside of the hermitage you can also enjoy the sea views from its magnificent terrace, from which you can go down a steep road to Cala Treumal, neighbor of Santa Cristina beach.
The beach of Santa Cristina de Lloret de Mar is familiar, surrounded by an environment of rocks and pine vegetation, perfect to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city in high season.
You can reach both the beach and the hermitage by car from the road that goes to Blanes and has a parking lot nearby. Another transport option, only available in high season, is the boat that takes you from the beach of Lloret de Mar.

5. Modernist cemetery, one of the places to see in Lloret de Mar

The modernist cemetery of Lloret de Mar, was influenced by the local Indian past, in which many families who made their fortunes in the American continent had renowned architects for the construction of their pantheons and hypogea. Modernism had a great influence on architecture and sculpture in Catalonia at the end of the 19th century, in which its greatest exponent was the genius Antoni Gaudí and some of his disciples, who contributed to create this open-air museum in which He has turned this place of eternal rest.

6. Roads of Ronda

One of the best things to do on the Costa Brava is to stroll through one of its Camino de Ronda to end with a refreshing swim in a small cove with crystal clear waters. Lloret de Mar has two beautiful sections of the Camino de Ronda that runs along the coast of Girona.
Our favorite path of LLoret is the one that starts from Sa Caleta, borders the Castle d'en Plaja to the rocky Cala dels Frares, and then continues along a steep climb of stairs that allows you to enjoy a walk with magnificent views of the sea and cliffs, until you reach the beautiful Cala Trons.
The second Camino de Ronda leaves from the southern end of the beach of Lloret de Mar, in which after walking a small flight of stairs you will reach one of the best viewpoints of the city that has a sculpture of the Marinera Dona. 7. Church of Sant Romà

We have to confess that Sa Boadella is one of our favorite beaches in Lloret de Mar, since being far from the center there are not so many tourists and has all the necessary services to spend a relaxing day on the beach, including a beach bar in the Savor delicious ice cream or a terrace to have a soda.
In the right area of ​​the cove, you have the nudist part, which is limited by several rocks above the beach and at the far left, climbing the rocks, you will find a very small and narrow, postcard cove, in addition to a large viewpoint overlooking the entire beach.
It can be reached by car by parking in a residential area or walking from the center of Lloret de Mar in less than half an hour.

9. Sant Pere del Bosc Sanctuary

Located about 6 kilometers from the center Lloret de Mar, surrounded by a wooded environment, is the Sant Pere del Bosc Sanctuary, another of the essential places to see in Lloret de Mar. The origins of the hermitage date back to the 10th century, when Benedictine monks lived in the monastery until the end of the 17th century with the arrival of the French.

Every June in Lloret de Mar the Fair of the Americans is celebrated, in memory of many residents of the city, mostly poor, who went to make their fortunes in the Americas, during the first half of the nineteenth century.
