The most direct way is to take the train number 63 to the town of Niagara Falls (Ontario, already on the Canadian side), on the so-called Maple Leaf Train. It leaves at 07:15 am from Penn Station and arrives at Niagara Falls (ON) at 16:33. The previous stop is Niagara Falls, but on the part of the United States, don't get off at that one! There is also the option of arriving at bus Direct with Greyhound, or go with Megabus to Buffalo and from there take another bus to Niagara Falls (ON).

Renting a car and taking a roadtrip from New York is a very good way to get to Niagara Falls. If you choose this option, be sure to stop along the way and visit the state park of Watkins glen, where you can walk through gorges full of vegetation and beautiful waterfalls. More information.

Niagara Falls from the Canadian side
