Our first hotel in Rajasthan was the Pearl Palace, which is not just any hotel: it is a gem! As soon as we saw our room we thought: “Wow! This is for us?!". It's been a long time since we stepped on such a beautiful place full of details ... and our room must be that of the elephant: because the head of the bed was full of elephants!
The bathroom is giant, and has a super warm shower where you can relax after a day backpacking in Jaipur. We even had a terrace to spy on the street, take a sun and chat about the trip. And of course, the satellite TV that Rober likes so much. But not only the room is spectacular, the whole hotel is full of curious objects and charming details from the reception through the common room ...
... until you reach its rooftop restaurant, the two-level "Peacock rooftop restaurant", where you can enjoy the fabulous Indian food or have a cool kinghfisher at sunset ... the truth is that it makes you want to stay there hours and hours!
These days in Jaipur have been completely different from what we expected: if someone had told us two days ago that we would arrive in Jaipur, we would stay in a fabulous hotel, its owner would take us along with an American travel blogger to go around Jaipur and Amber on the back of a 1945 American military Jeep, we would have said he was crazy ... but sometimes the follies come true!
Many thanks to Mr Singh and his family for their hospitality, we have really enjoyed these days!
