2- Cinque Terre

As we discussed earlier with Switzerland, in Cinque Terre it is also very convenient to book in advance and it is that the summer season apart from being one of the best to visit the area, due to the good weather and the atmosphere, it is also the busiest of the year , so that prices soar and accommodation places in the villages that make up Cinque Terre run out quickly. We recommend you fly to Pisa and from there travel by train to La Spezia, which takes an hour and a quarter or 45 minutes, depending on the chosen train and from there connect with the trains that go to Cinque Terre. The journeys between town and town are not more than 5 minutes, so you can imagine how fast it is to move. Getting around by car is quite discouraged and it is that apart from the fact that Cinque Terre does not have too many car parks, since there is such good public transport, it is almost more an inconvenience than an advantage.

We recommend you book flights to Brussels with enough time to avoid cost overruns at this time of the year, as well as reserve accommodation in advance, especially if you have planned to base in Bruges or Ghent, the most tourist cities, visited and so both the most expensive in terms of hosting. No doubt two cities you have to see in Belgium.
From Brussels you can move perfectly by train throughout Flanders, so renting a car is not necessary and we would even say that it is not recommended, since in summer there is much more traffic and in the cities more parking problems.
