Fez, the medieval city in which it is almost an obligation to get lost in its labyrinthine and chaotic, but full of charm, medina. Unlike the tourist Marrakech in Fez we can enjoy a little more tranquility and less stress, especially by sellers. In addition to touring its medina, we have to walk and haggle in its endless souks, have tea in one of its terraces, visit its Koranic schools, try the best couscous and tajine, visit the tanneries and not stop smell, look and feel their environment.
There's a lot things to see and do in Fez, we wanted to make a list of the 50 that we think are most important, making a selection of the ones we liked the most on the trip we made to Casablanca, Meknes, Volubilis and Fez. We start!

1. Make the route of the artisans, a circular itinerary marked with posters that begins in the Boujloud Square, and that will help us get a first idea of ​​the medina and what we can find.
2. Reach the Bab Guissa door of the 10th century, north of the medina, and with the Jewish cemetery hill in front.
3. Tour the Mellah, the Jewish quarter of Fez, located next to the Royal Palace in the Fez el-Jdid medina, starting at the main street Rue Mellah and entering its alleyways.

16. Tour the Souk of Henna, at the end of Talaa Kebira Street, a market for traditional cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
17. Staying in a riad. We were at Riad Ibn Khandoun, which we recommend, with incredible views of the city and a spectacular breakfast.
18. Visit the Dar Batha Museum, full of traditional Moroccan objects. Just for a walk in the courtyards of the palace, it is worth it.
19. Smell a mint branch or cover our nose while we walk through the Chouwara Tannery and see the hard work of the tanners to color the skins.
20. If we have time we can not miss an excursion to spend a night in Merzouga desert in a traditional Berber haima, located among the best excursions from Fez.

21. Stroll along the Talaa Sghira shopping street, the sister of Talaa Tabira street that also crosses the medina and from which alleyways leave to get lost.

38. Stroll through the charming Andalusian neighborhood of Fez, created by the emigration of Muslims from southern Spain.
39. Buy and smell the spices of the Attarine souk near the Medersa Attarine.
