Many years have passed since my last travel to Vienna, and that was one of the destinations I first visited when I started to grow up travel through Europe.

My image of Vienna It is associated with a beautiful city, clean, tidy, with large palaces and lots of classical music. However, the promotional campaign that the city of Vienna is carrying out during these weeks is, without a doubt, an invitation to rediscover the Austrian capital.

Under the motto Vienna sounds good, this image is still associated to music ... but to a music much closer to the Spanish, as is that of the Galician artist Ivan Ferreiro, who was singer and songwriter of the group The Pirates.

The newvideo clip Ivan has done in Vienna, within the framework of a tourism promotion campaign, and it is a preview of his new albumVal Miñor-Madrid. World history and chronology which will be presented next October.

Through this video clip we have the opportunity to discover anew image of Vienna like a modern city, which combines its historical past with new trends in culture and leisure.

Thus, in the video clip Ivan Ferreiro He makes an experiential tour of the new Vienna, while presenting two unpublished tracks that are included in that album,A restlessness pursues my soul Y The end of the eternity.

During this two-day traveling experience, of which my good friend witnessed José Ramón Alvaro, who tells us in his Travel, Rock and Photos blogIvan and his brother Amaro visit charismatic places in the most current Vienna.

Starting from the modern boutique hotel 25 hours, Iván and Amaro discover the Museum Quarter, where you find a combination of art, cuisine and architecture, both baroque and modern. And there is no shortage of stores with the most current brands.

Other scenarios used to produce the video clip were the terrace of the Museum of Natural History, as well as the shopping areas of the 7th district.

Of course, in one Vienna visit can not miss the giant ferris wheel of the Prater, or a boat trip on the river Danube, scenarios that also shows us Ivan Ferreiro.

And from the gastronomic point of view, restaurants acquire prominencePalmenhaus, he Find or the Glacis Beisl, and you also don't miss a more traditional enclave, as is the historical Central Coffee.

Another enclave of the most current Vienna, the «beach bar» clubStrandbar Herrmann , on the banks of the Danube, is the stage of the concert during which Iván interprets his two new songs.

In short, this video clip that you can see in this post is a combination of current music with the new image of Vienna. Without a doubt, I have to go back to discover it.
